Marbet Lewis started working with the alcohol industry prior to graduating law school in 2004. She works with all three tiers of the alcohol industry including manufacturers, importers and retailers on various licensing and permitting projects, license transactions, mergers and acquisitions and assists with development of marketing, social media and regulatory compliance programs that promote long term business objectives.
Robert F. Lewis has worked with the alcohol industry for over 25 years. Rob formerly served as a special agent with the Florida Division of Alcohol Beverage and Tobacco (DABT) and later as an industry advocate and legal counsel. His experience as both a former regulator and a legal practitioner offers clients a unique perspective on enforcement and regulatory issues.
James P. Gueits
James P. Gueits, who joins Spiritus Law as a partner in our Coral Gables office, advises business entities operating in the US and Latin America in transactional and regulatory matters, including compliance and governance issues across a broad range of industries such as bio-technology, supply-chain, finance, regulated products, consumer electronics, software, commercial real estate and hospitality. James has broad experience handling in-bound transactions, including business structuring, cross-border acquisitions, joint-venture and investment-related matters. James also represents business interests securing government approvals from regulatory agencies.
